Stepping Stones Child Care Center believes that each child is a unique person. Each child is respected for his or her individual personality, learning style and family background. We have created an environment where your child is nurtured while building self-esteem. Our objective is to provide a setting where your child will feel secure and you are confident in the care being provided.

Stepping Stones provides your child with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, which enhance social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.  We believe that an emergent curriculum gives children the opportunity to learn based on their interests.  Child-centered activities promote active learning and encourage children to make their own choices.  We stimulate children's interests through exposure to art, music, sensory experiences and story telling both in and outdoors.

Stepping Stones is an exciting Child Care Center serving families with children ages 2 months to 5 years (or prior to Kindergarten). We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. We offer a Breakfast Bunch option at 7:30 a.m. Regular drop-off begins at 8:00 a.m.

Our Infant Program is a 5-day only Program.  For our Toddlers and Preschoolers

we offer 2, 3, 4 and 5 day programs, with early (3 p.m.) and later (5:30 p.m.) pick-up options.

Families can choose a 10-month, full-year or summer schedule.  For families searching for a couple of hours a day to allow their children a chance to socialize and ease their way into a "school" setting,

we offer an Extended Day Program from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Stepping Stones Child Care Center offers a warm, bright, home-like atmosphere.  Our children are encouraged and nurtured while engaging in developmentally age-appropriate activities.  We designed a curriculum that allows the children to learn based on their interests.

Enrolling in our Center…

When considering enrollment, we encourage parents to schedule a visit to the center to observe the classrooms and meet the staff.  After visiting the center, parents may fill out and return an application for enrollment with a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.  If a space is not available immediately, this will place your child on our waiting list.  When a space becomes available, the family will be notified and will receive a contract for the full year, school year or summer program. 

Along with a signed contract parents must provide a security deposit of a full month’s tuition. 

Deposits are non-refundable and will be used as a last month’s tuition.  Stepping Stones has an open enrollment policy; families already enrolled in the center have first priority for siblings. 

New family enrollments are accepted on a first come-first serve basis.
