Stepping Stones was opened in 2002. We are a privately owned Preschool, Toddler and Infant program located in Watertown. Each classroom strives to treat every child as a unique individual while supporting them through their discovery of independence and social and emotional growth. Our morning program curriculum is tailored to the needs and skillsets of the children and goals for that particular age group. Our teachers use play, exploration, modeling and specific curriculum tools to practice conflict negotiation skills, problem solving, flexibility and coping strategies. Our extended day program allows an opportunity for the children to explore different social connections with peers and teachers from various classrooms.

Our classrooms
We have four different classrooms at Stepping Stones. Each classroom is designed to support the growth and learning of that specific age group. Our classrooms range from Infancy to Pre-K. We have a variety of enrollment options including part-time and full time.
Morning Program: 8:30-12:30
Full Day Program: 8-3
Extended Day: until 5 - Limited availability -

Our outdoor space
Our outdoor space is covered in playground turf providing a plush and realistic feel for the space. The children are able to enjoy two large climbing structures that meet the developmental needs of each age group. Sensory play is offered in our sandbox while we also encourage curiosity through nature hunts or small walks to observe the changes of the seasons.

Indoor gross motor space
Our indoor gross motor space has equipment that caters to all age groups. This space allows for tricycle rides, swings, tumbling and so much more. Through the use of this space, we are able to support children’s coordination, regulation and exploration.
